> the `id` just being a meaningless URL resolved against the manifest URL That's not quite what I was suggesting. I was saying it's a meaningless *string* (doesn't have to be a URL at all). It's an arbitrary character string, that isn't *resolved* against the manifest URL; it forms part of a unique key, in a pair with the origin (so that two origins with the same `id` won't collide). -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
