as an example, node requires you to write `.json` in the import specifier. we would have no use for such a syntactic extension. jumping a bit further, if someone writes `import x as 'application/json'`, but a host doesn't use mine types, what do they do with that? -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
