I'm -1 on this. Required only normatively effects inputs. There are a ton of things you could put on output dictionaries which are all useless, similar to this. (e.g. various extended attributes). There's no sense in which these are required, because required only applies to inputs. Including it is just confusing and causes me to start looking for what part of the spec uses these as inputs. This also sets a bad precedent for other specs. If anything I'd prefer we disallow this in Web IDL. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
