@JerryGreen Yeah, I agree it would be nice for calendar, but see my original post at the top of this thread. Calendar apps are pretty much the _only_ use case we've had requesting this feature (other than those that are better suited to using the [Badging API](https://github.com/WICG/badging)), over a period of about a decade. If that continues to be the only viable use case, I don't think it's worth the complexity of having this available.
