It is this mentioned in this issue: https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/1995 Although I think that issue got somewhat derailed into a larger discussion on handling of name-defined constructs in shadow trees. I'm only concerned about the current incompatibility between Safari and Chrome/Firefox regarding the lookup scope of name-defined constructs for slotted content.
