Unfortunately this is what I hear far too often from the webkit team, that the proposed solution is inadequate. While there is nothing wrong with having different opinions or disagreeing, what I don't often hear are potential alternative solutions. This is a highly requested feature from developers and it would be great to hear vendors thoughts as to what the best solution might be.
