Re: [w3c/editing] Need spec for how HTML is serialized to be placed on the clipboard (#181)

I don't see how we can standardize this given different browsers seem to have different goals / approaches in preserving styles. WebKit, for example, serializes every style possible and tries to preserve the visual appearance, and we have a pretty strict requirement that we need to continue to do so to be interoperable with the rest of the platform.
