I think this is a bit different to #446. That is really about updating the manifest (because the site has updated) and pushing out the update in a timely fashion. Solutions discussed there include notifying the user when the icon changes so they can confirm it is not a spoof. Whereas this is about dynamically setting the icon (not title) on a regular basis (once daily or more frequently), where notifying the user wouldn't be acceptable. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
