Yeah, this getting rejected is pretty bad. Shadow boundaries are a major part of making CSS more usable in the modern world, and making that declarative is a huge part of making this usable in the large. That said, the [declarative custom elements strawman](https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents/blob/gh-pages/proposals/Declarative-Custom-Elements-Strawman.md) does seem to fit my needs. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
