Re: [w3c/webcomponents] Add a strawman design for custom elements (d3f89c8)

I keep thinking that all of this is possible today somehow via HTML imports, and this doesn't look like an improvement of the ergonomics in any significant way. I will like to challenge this proposal to exclusively focus on a full declarative syntax (without javascript) as a way to enable:

1. the creation of web components using HTML markup exclusively.
2. the compilation to web components from other frameworks and programming languages.
