I think the strategy of being as lenient as the most lenient browser in all cases is sure to maximize our incompatibility with non-browser parsers, and it will encourage the development of more content that is incompatible with RFC-2397-compatible parsers. I think that would be bad for the web. To be more specific, I am not willing to make WebKit allow spaces in data URLs. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
