Oh, you're referring to [this](https://w3c.github.io/webappsec-suborigins/)? I wasn't aware of this proposal. That would be fantastic; if we could tie SW scope, Manifest (app) scope, and perhaps permission scope and a few other things, into the same concept of a sub-origin, without forcing developers to rewrite their URL scheme.
