Hmm, right. So I guess this would allow you to _add_ buffering, not control it. But, you can also do that [relatively easily](https://streams.spec.whatwg.org/#example-transform-identity) with an identity transform stream. Would that suffice for your purposes, @benjamingr? Or are you looking for more control?
