I'd like to keep the current behavior described in @hayatoito's code snippet. If it will be introduced for the sake of compatibility, then `window.event` should always point to the currently-dispatching event, I think. "`window.event` always returns the *current* event" is conceptually simple and I like it. Why not restore the event? -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
