There's no processing requirements for plain text in that RFC. E.g., for http://example.com. there's nothing there that states whether the trailing dot is part of the URL or not. I guess you could assume that the RFC states it should be included, but almost no tool would want that kind of behavior so they'd all violate the RFC. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
