@justjanne It is important to note that is is not a 'standard' in the conventional sense, so it's best to just stop caring, as I see it. It'd be one thing if they were trying to standardize user input into browsers' URL input fields, but it really loses any sense of sanity after that point. What the WHATWG defines what they call "working standards", which are, in reality, whatever Google Chrome does, with a bit of input from other browser vendors.
