@annevk @jakearchibald fwiw, a poc for upload progress utilizing `EventSource`; could probably be improved. Presently implemented using `php` at server, though also interested in language agnostic approaches at server [How to read and echo file size of uploaded file being written at server in real time without blocking at both server and client?](http://stackoverflow.com/questions/42475492/how-to-read-and-echo-file-size-of-uploaded-file-being-written-at-server-in-real)
