@jyasskin I agree that a boolean does not meet the requirements of the Location permission query or request.

Granularity must be extended to cover and distinguish "Background Location Tracking" from "Foreground Location tracking". Whether "At sleep Location tracking" granularity is also required is doubtful as I believe it can be combined with "Background" perhaps under a better name.

"Covert" seems emotive. How about Unwatched? Unsupervised? Neglected? Continuous? Resilient? Ambient?
