Reading over the ES2015 spec, yes, Typed Array semantics are exactly what I want.

(Man, it's pretty hard to chase down where, precisely, the coercion semantics are defined. You have go look up Integer Indexed Exotic Objects, which aren't obviously linked, and chase some definitions there before <https://www.ecma-international.org/ecma-262/6.0/#sec-integerindexedelementset> finally defines it.)
