That said, I *do* agree that follow/signal is going to involve some dedicated discussion, it's something that could be introduced later, and shouldn't be a blocker for the rest of the spec (because the fact that `XMLHttpRequest` is *still* the only way to make abortable requests in 2017 is a downright *crisis*).
