Best practices are generally left for the community to decide. Still, I think that whether a component author chooses a setter property, setter method or some other approach is an entirely subjective personal preference. Furthermore, the specification merely exists to help ensure vendors implement the same features in a compatible manner. Guidance for web developers is usually left to the materials that are targeted to them (blog posts, Stack Overflow, MDN docs, MSDN docs, etc). -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
