AFAICT from telemetry, usage of createEvent("SVGZoomEvent"/"SVGZoomEvents") is zero, or may as well be, so there seems to be no impediment to Gecko removing it.

I'll put it on my to-do list to write a patch for Gecko to drop support when I'm next working (end of March), if no one beats me to it.
