@smaug----, in my https://github.com/w3c/webcomponents/issues/184#issuecomment-219697411 I had a mental model that user "clicked" some link within an iframe and navigated to the new content in the iframe. Reading your comment > what is just some random element which content is changed dynamically I am not sure you got that point.
