Regarding usage of cross-origin credentialed requests, we have one for XHR here gathered for https://github.com/whatwg/fetch/issues/251: https://www.chromestatus.com/metrics/feature/timeline/popularity/1305 I'll summarize reqirements and approaches we can take here. I understand that it's useful if we can get general policy announcement infra, but looks we already have so much ideas.
