I cited some [scary numbers](https://github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse/issues/495#issuecomment-230952271) for them to get a sense of why "standalone" as a default is really dangerous for the ecosystem (in the it diminishes trust in web applications), and bad for users in general... worst case, browsers will skip standalone and always do "minumal-ui" because most apps are not usable without a back button or access to the URL bar. --- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
