Re: [editing] Add a mechanism to opt-in/opt-out editing features (#93)

I could hear few parts of conversation in the meeting and wanted to clarify few things.
My understanding of the current model is that mentioned IPad floating UI with editing commands actually belongs the system.
The way it is done (may vary from browser to browser) is that browser platform sends a notification to whoever is listening to its events that specific editing command is enabled in a specific context. Then it is the job of the browser app(or whatever else that wants to display editing options) to either display or not those editing commands as a part of context menu or a floating UI.
I am not entirely clear on how this applies to JS editors?
Could you please clarify?
