Yeah, moving `charCode` and `keyCode` up to `UIEvent` seems wrong to me too. We just [removed them from UIEvent](https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=508316) in Chrome 46 (which just went stable). @travisleithead can you provide any details on the sites affected?
