@rniwa Sure the WG can can overrule a proposal from you to add this. But you agree that this should be specified, right? The same way you added an issue for https://github.com/w3c/selection-api/issues/46 , could we also add an issue for this? I hadn't looked at the issue list of the selection API and I now notice that I added a number of things with examples there about half a year ago. Some of the things mentioned in issues there are the same things we have been mentioning here.
