Re: [editing] Should the caret move by default, and should we define this behavior? (#58)

The problem is that caret behavior is platform dependent just as much as focusing behavior is (see [section 6 of HTML spec](https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/interaction.html#focus)) and we can't really agree on single behavior across platforms and browsers.

We need to understand the underlying motivation / use case and come up with an alternative approach instead.
