If Koji's idea is not acceptable, someone must try to fix the current proposed algorithm so that it doesn't have any changes which we haven't agreed. As I said in this thread, I don't have a strong opinion about the location of insertion points in the event path. I can live with the world where the location of insertion points are changed. However, if a new algorithm becomes too complex than the current one, I'm afraid that I have to raise the concern because it might be a bad signal, which we can discuss later once we can get a working algorithm.
