Olli, can you also check case 1 and 3 of the http://jsbin.com/casoyi ?

Case 2 is about nodes not distributed to any shadow insertion point, but case 1
and 3 are different.

If you could come up with a tweaked algorithm that fixes all these issues,
that'd be greatly appreciated.
