Credit to Mukilan Thiagarajan for finding this out. He has a test page here[1]
which demonstrates some of the issues. It behaves differently in Firefox,
Servo, and Chrome (Servo follows the WHATWG spec, and we suspect that Firefox
has a broken implementation)
