Implementing a web thing protocol

Just a heads up. Please don't close the community group. It feels that
things (no pun intended) just recently start to pick up steam.

I'm the author of hiveot and have implemented the http binding in golang
with a variant of the sse subprotocol. Currently, I'm currently working on
the websocket implementation and plan for the mqtt binding shortly.

Mailing lists like these feel like '80s  dinosaurs and I had even forgotten
about them.  :)  Is this the expected discussion medium?
I hope we can use github discussions instead, eg:  :
https://github.com/w3c/web-thing-protocol   (looks like it is currently
disabled).
