(Web Security IG] take away and minutes of our call today

Dear all,

Thanks for the ones who have attended the web security IG and thanks Wendy for scribing.

The informal chair take away is the following :

- We discussed the past actions from the Web Security IG, focusing on new topics [1] and security review [2]

- We reminded the current W3C security strategy https://github.com/w3c/websec/blob/gh-pages/security-roadmap.md

- We identified one topic for further discussions : how to deliver sensitive services (such as password management), keeping in mind the accessibility requirements ?

- We benefited from Christine (PING co-chair) and Sam (ex-IETF security domain support) experience in the area of review

- We mentioned the need to have more people involved in security reviews and working better on the interaction with the WG, expecting reviews.

The action plan from that conversation could not be set up, follow up will be made on the Web Security IG mailing list.

The detailed minutes are available here : https://www.w3.org/2016/05/03-websec-minutes.html

Regards,
Virginie
