Dear all, The workshop related to Web Crypto Next is 3 weeks away now, and I guess we should start discussing the rechartering of Web Crypto, in order to have the features we discussed landing in a W3C WG. I have updated the wiki page reporting the discussion held during the workshop : https://www.w3.org/Security/wiki/IG/webcryptonext_workshop I have created an empty charter to give you an idea of what we want to achieve : https://www.w3.org/Security/wiki/IG/webcryptonext_draft_charter Our short term objective is to get an idea of the charter by the end of October, to be discussed briefly during the one day F2F Web Crypto WG. The final objective is to have a stable charter by the end of November, to go through W3C process to have it approved for March 2015 (or earlier of possible). In order to structure a bit the discussion, I think that we should start by defining which use case we would like to address. è So homework for the people willing to influence the next web crypto charter, please remind us in one line, which use case you would like to address. I will be monitoring the discussion, and collecting material, in order to feed the draft charter lively. So please, share now.
