https://github.com/Open-TEE I have a feeling that this effort and https://wiki.linaro.org/WorkingGroups/Security/OP-TEE are more likely to take hardware crypto to the web than the W3C. It is simply put quite impossible standardizing fast-moving technology. The previous attempt to standardize hardware security, the TPM, took 12 years (!) to reach 2.0 and then it was already obsolete (building security with external security processors requiring standardized interfaces doesn't meet today's need for agile systems).
