I don't have enough expertise in canvas APIs to comment on the specific changes here (but can merge if you get another blink canvas expert to agree with the changes). Is there another canvas expert around like @junov is out? I see @foolip suggested cc'ing the Gecko and Edge canvas experts on this PR - at least as an FYI that their implementation doesn't match the spec. Any idea who that is?
