Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

The Web Performance Working Group Charter [1] is hereby extended until 1
June 2026.

The mission of the Web Performance Working Group is to provide methods
to observe and improve aspects of application performance of user agent
features and APIs.

The group has made progress on several deliverables and has begun work
on two additional specifications [2][3], which may be published in the
coming months. This extension enables the group to work on a new charter
[4] while continuing to advance its current deliverables.

More information about the Web Performance Working Group can be found on
its summary page [5], including information about group Chairs, Staff
Contact and instructions for joining the group.

If you have any questions or need further information, please contact
Carine Bournez <carine@w3.org>, Staff Contact for the Web Performance
Working Group.

This extension follows section 4.6 of the W3C Process Document:
https://www.w3.org/policies/process/20250818/#charter-extension

Thank you,

For Philippe le Hégaret, VP, Technical Strategy,
