Meeting Summary: 1. requestAnimationFrame Feedback For requestAnimationFrame, we have two ongoing discussions: - ACTION-31: Consider including a window.animationStartTime and use High Resolution Time for the rAF callback parameter (http://www.w3.org/2010/webperf/track/actions/31) There is a discussion on the mailing list on whether or not to standardize the window.animationStartTime property supported in IE10 (unprefixed) and Firefox (prefixed), http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-web-perf/2012Oct/0044.html. - ISSUE-5: Expected callback rates should be documented, http://www.w3.org/2010/webperf/track/issues/5 The specification is very clear that no callbacks should be issues when document.hidden is true. Jatinder to follow up with the CSS WG on CSS3 Animations and ensuring they also do not fire when the document.hidden is true. 2. Test Cases Review We have moved all three High Resolution Time test cases to the approved folder. Google is currently reviewing the Page Visibility test cases in the submission folder, http://w3c-test.org/webperf/tests/submission/Microsoft/PageVisibility/ 3.
