Thanks for starting this initiative! # Introduction My name is Asbjørn Enge. I'm a web application developer based in Sandnes, Norway. I have a bachelor degree in digital communication and have been working with the web since 2006. Some of the things I love doing include RESTful API design, cloud architecture and more recently user interfaces and UX design. # Some general thoughts One of the major complaints I hear about the web from people who turn to native application, is the inability to charge for application and/or content quickly and (above all) easily. Forcing a user trough then painful (and possibly insecure) process of paying on the web today is too costly.. If the web provided a simple and effective way to get paid for applications & content I believe quite a bit of the talent (specifically the appeal, the polishers and the product centric talent) would return to the web; raising the bar for web applications and pushing the web forward. Let's face it, ads are more destructive than constructive for the web. # Tasks I'm but a humble web developer, but I'll contribute what I can to move this forward. One task that struck me was the questionnaire. I could help groom it for a developer audience and maybe stick it on github with a modern look to help spread word? I also brew a mean cup of joe :-P -- http://www.asbjornenge.com http://github.com/asbjornenge @asbjornenge
