WoT CG Office Hours

Dear WoT CG Participants,

As WoT CG Co-chairs, we would like to offer a weekly slot, called Office Hours, where anyone can join to ask questions and talk about the Web of Things.

While we are waiting for participants, we can do some organizational work (maintaining the GitHub repository, planning the next meetup speakers, planning the next internal event, etc.) that anyone can help with. If anyone has a specific topic to discuss, they can also send an email to the chairs in advance.

We want to make it clear that these will not be CG Internal Meetings, which means that:

  * No group resolutions will be decided on. Resolutions will happen in the CG Internal Meetings.
  * There will be no minute-taking. However, the meaningful information might be recorded as GitHub Issues, Discussions, or Pull Requests
  * We will not record the call
  * There will be no presentation
  * The agenda will be set during the meeting

We want to make the slot easy for anyone in the world to join. Given the 16-hour difference between the US West Coast and Japan, we cannot do a single time slot. Thus, we will have alternating times every week, one early in the morning in Europe which should be fine for the Tokyo timezone; one in the late afternoon in Europe, which should be fine for the US West Coast timezone. If you find other timeslots more convenient, please comment on thie discussion linked below.

When we have a Meetup or Internal Meeting, office hours can be canceled.

The meeting details:

  *   Video Platform: Microsoft Teams
  * Time slots: As mentioned above, Thursday at 9:00<https://www.timebie.com/std/centraleuropean.php?q=9> and at 17:00<https://www.timebie.com/std/centraleuropean.php?q=17> CET. (Click the links to see it in your timezone).
  * Starting from 17 November 2022 (to give enough time for comments).
  * Joining Instructions will be sent through W3C Calendar<https://www.w3.org/groups/cg/wot/calendar>.
You can send your comments as a reply to this email or on the GitHub Discussion at https://github.com/w3c/wot-cg/discussions/16 .

Best regards,
Ege Korkan and Cristiano Aguzzi
