Selecting chair(s)

After a long period of dormancy, it seems timely to kick off the Web of Things Community Group, now that we’ve made a lot of progress in the Web of Things Interest Group and Working Group on WoT standards. I am therefore stepping down as the WoT CG chair and seeking one or more replacements who have the time to get things really moving.

Forwarding on behalf of Michael McCool:

> Dear Web of Things CG Members,
>
> In the WoT IG/WG we have been discussing moving certain WoT activities into the WoT CG in order to better engage with interested members of the community. In the short term, this would just involve organizing existing activities that already are open to non-W3C members, such as our periodic “WoT Open Day” events, as WoT CG events, and reorganizing the WoT CG landing pages so they align with and link with other WoT pages and groups. If you wish to nominate yourself or someone else (with their permission) as a WoT CG co-chair, please send an email to this list with a cc to team-wot@w3.org <mailto:team-wot@w3.org>. Dave Raggett, the current WoT CG Co-Chair, has agreed to step down once the process is complete. We would like to take this opportunity as well to thank him for all his hard work.
