Re: Bootstrapping the Web of Things Community Group

Hi,

I'm working on semantic data of 'things' research with cooperation of W3C EXI wg.

In some field, we need a clear and sufficient schema language. Modern industrial protocols such as ZigBee SEP2.0 (now it is IEEE P2030.5), OpenADR, or IEC CIM refer to UML-based data model with reference to other data, could be part of semantic web (of data models) of things. I have had contributed to SEP2.0, and now working on EXI-encoded XMPP to enable real-time semantic-WoT/M2M communication.

I believe semantic data and strict schema languages should be important for long-standing industrial web of things infrastructures.

Regards,

Yusuke

To support that we will be looking for examples of use cases, and analyses of requirements and architectures, as well as implementation experiences. Please help us to frame the scope of the workshop in more detail.
