The reason why I ran into this was that I was adding form validation to my NFC tools app and wanted to check the spec algorithm. I assume that others might do the same, so having this right and a note referring to the specs (given there are more) would be useful. As I read it the NDEF URN might add additional restrictions, so it could be that what we are doing is correct (then definitely a note is required) > [2.2](https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8141#section-2.2).
