@Liryna Let me put it like this: What I described ("A Better QR") , would in my world be _another_ API than ISODEP, and also having another security model although they in _theory_ could be the same.
QR is already in use by more than 500 Million Chinese users and the shops in Europe are gearing up for that. If QR wins, I doubt that NFC will get any built-in support in PCs at all. Currently NFC is only featured in pricier PCs AFAIK.
