@kenchris well, `ByteString` also returns a string (for convenience). 
It's just that the underlying representation is bytes. I guess you're 
saying that on Android the underlying representation is a string, 
though is this the C or Java API?

@zolkis it's really more a question about the value range than 
convenience with ByteString vs DOMString vs UVSString.
