Hi, The "Review of apps that use network information" doc is ready to be published as a note (see [note]). I'll work with Dom to get that to happen in the next week or so. The document has served to inform both the W3C and browser vendors on how they can expect a network information API to be used on mobile. For the influence on the Blink community, see [blink]. It has also featured in many discussions at Mozilla (of course, I'm biased because I've been pushing it there:)). As our document and subsequent discussion exposed many of the pitfalls with such an API (most of them already known to the DAP WG!) it almost resulted in the Device API WG shelving the API. However, Mozilla and Google are now discussing potentially reviving the API - again, see [blink]. This is partially based on our work, which outlined exactly what would be needed from such an API. The requirements we outlined in the document became the new NetInfo API, which you can find at [netinfo]. Huge thanks to everyone that helped with that document!
