Hello everybody, With an strong background in Open Source and Web Standards on "small devices", I've been actively involved in the W3C Mobile Web Initiative during my years in CTIC[1], from 2006 to 2009, participating on the calls, F2F meetings and even working in several docs and notes [2]. After that I've working as Health & Wellness R&D Manager, researching on devices connectivity, cloud based services and interoperability. Our company was Continua Health Alliance[3] member and I became 2nd Vice Chair of the Technical Working Group, focused on how web technologies could help on that area. During 2011 we work on a liasson between Continua and W3C. Our contribution to Android code allow us to become OHA[4] members and we commit our code to Phonegap/Cordova project (Bluetooth plugin). Lately I've joint Tapquo[5] as stakeholder and I joint it to W3C as a member and I've acting as the AC representative. I worked as CEO but I am not working there. On the other hand I've been involved in several Mobile Open Source communities like Maemo/Meego and nowadays I am managing FirefoxOS Meetup Madrid and co-managing Bilbao Google Developers Group. So, I would like helping and participating on this Interest Group as much as possible and make the Charter a success! I think "mobile" and the "web" have gone beyond mobile phones, so defining the scope could be a first challenge... When do we start? Thank you very much and best regards, [1] http://www.ctic.es [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/mwbp-guidelines/ [3] http://www.continuaalliance.org [4] http://www.openhandsetalliance.com/ [5] http://www.tapquo.com
