@jyasskin our devices at Logitech don't always have a physical power 
switch nor a removable battery or a button. Hence sometimes firmware 
will transition from application to bootloader (i.e. enter DFU mode) 
without requiring any action on device.

Also leaving hardware vendors complain about security when they have 
issues with their services is the best way to go, provided you can 
give them a way to do it.
