In this meeting we'll hear from NHK R&D's video coding team, including Iwamura-san and Nemoto-san, who contribute to video coding standardisation at MPEG/JVET. They have been working on prototyping and testing VVC video playback in web browsers. They will present a use case and prototype implementation of personalized viewing using VVC for future broadcasting, using multilayer coding to allow viewers to select sub-content interactively.
